Who We Are
The Shadow Project’s mission is to make school more accessible and engaging for the 1 in 5 students with learning and attention challenges. We serve over 1,500 students at more than 40 schools in the Portland Metro area, with a goal to expand throughout Oregon. By partnering with amazing special education teachers, The Shadow Project helps kids who learn differently become stronger readers, strengthen social-emotional skills, and dream big for their futures.
At The Shadow Project, we believe in balancing work and life, engaging in meaningful DEIA learning together, and finding joy in our work. We are a small but mighty team and a growing organization. We encourage professional development among all staff positions. We welcome team members of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
