Listening Therapy Dog at Rosa Parks Elementary

Molly is a Parti Standard Poodle that loves children, cuddles, and helping students become better readers. She is a therapy dog, and some special education students at Rosa Parks Elementary School recently got a chance to practice their literacy skills by reading to the black-and-white canine. The Shadow Project, working with Columbia River Pet Partners, invited Molly to the school to help kids find courage when reading aloud.

The Shadow Project Celebrates 15 Years

To celebrate 15 years of changing lives for children with learning challenges, KGW-TV joins The Shadow Project in a Sitton Elementary classroom where children in special education are finding the courage to read.
