Gabrielle entered the nonprofit world in 2011 and never looked back. With a background in environmental and alternative education, she is passionate about remaking the institutions serving our children into the image of a more equitable and just society. In addition to almost 10 years writing grants in the Portland area, her nonprofit roles have spanned finance, communications, event planning, and knowing just enough about IT to get into trouble. Also a PPS parent, she is driven to change our educational system in ways that celebrate difference, inspire excellence, and recognize value in all young people.
